Georg K. Hill is a nationally recognized relationship strategist and senior advisor with more than two decades of experience supporting Mayors and local government leaders in advancing their national and federal priorities. His work centers on leveraging high-level relationships to position cities for funding opportunities, strategic partnerships, and long-term economic impact.

As Founder and Principal of GovConnect Consulting Services, LLC, Georg specializes in designing intentional strategies that strengthen executive leadership, build high-performing mayoral teams, and align local priorities with national opportunities.

​

Prior to launching his firm, Georg served as a senior advisor to former Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock, where he played a key role in national engagement and public-private partnership strategy during Hancock’s three terms in office.

Throughout his career, Georg has cultivated and maintained relationships with leading national organizations, including the National League of Cities, United States Conference of Mayors, Democratic Mayors Association, African American Mayors Association, and the Republican National Committee. These partnerships give him a nuanced understanding of the political, operational, and funding dynamics that shape municipal governance.

Georg also played a central role in coordinating the National Nonpartisan Conversation on Voter Rights in Denver(2021) and Houston (2022), securing more than $400,000 in philanthropic support to advance the initiative. He continues to advise on national convenings focused on civic engagement and voter access.

Earlier in his career, Georg built a foundation in the entertainment industry, serving as operations manager and later management consultant to legendary song stylist Nancy Wilson. In that role, he developed and managed international partnerships, honing the relationship-building skills that now define his consulting practice.

Georg studied Political Science at The Ohio State University, with a focus on Organizational Communication.
