Georg Hill
Relationship Strategist
Georg K. Hill is a highly accomplished relationship strategist and national engagement professional with over 20 years of experience in advising Mayors and local government officials on their national agenda priorities. His expertise lies in amplifying national relationships to ensure that local cities receive federal funding in their respective communities.
As the founder of Gov Connect Consulting Services, LLC., Georg is dedicated to creating intentional strategic plans to build successful C-suite teams for new Mayors, helping them establish strong leadership teams. Prior to establishing his consultancy, Georg served as a senior advisor and a key member of former three-term Mayor Michael B. Hancock's senior leadership team in Denver.
Throughout his career, Georg has successfully partnered with and maintained connections with prominent national organizations such as the National League of Cities, United States Conference of Mayors, Democratic Mayors Association, African American Mayors Association, and the Republican National Committee. These collaborations have provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of municipal governance.
Notably, Georg played a pivotal role in coordinating the National Nonpartisan Conversation on Voter Rights in Denver, CO in 2021, and a subsequent convening in Houston, TX in 2022. Through his efforts, he secured over $400,000 in donations to advance the agenda of the NNCVR. Georg remains an integral part of the voter rights convening and is currently coordinating three upcoming conversations scheduled for 2023-2024.
Georg embarked on his consulting journey in the entertainment sector, commencing as the operations manager for the acclaimed song stylist Nancy Wilson. Over the course of more than a decade, he evolved into her management consultant, earning acclaim for his adeptness in establishing and nurturing international partnerships with diverse organizations worldwide.
Georg studied political science at The Ohio State University, with a minor in Organizational Communications. He has effectively utilized both disciplines throughout his career to drive impactful change and facilitate successful collaborations. Currently, Georg serves as a valued member of the African American Mayors Association Business Council.
